before bulk production.
How Does the M-Profile Press Connection Work?
The valve uses M-profile press-fit ends.
The prepared copper tube is inserted into the valve connection,
and a compatible pressing tool permanently compresses the joint.
This type of connection avoids a conventional threaded connection
at the valve ends and does not require soldering directly at the valve.
Correct installation depends on using the proper tube outside diameter,
compatible M-profile jaws and the required pipe preparation procedure.
Installation Note:
press profiles and tools should not be assumed to be interchangeable.
Confirm that the press tool, jaw profile, pipe dimensions and valve
connection are compatible before installation.
Compatible with EN 1057 Copper Tube
According to the supplied technical data, this brass valve is intended
for use with hard, half-hard and soft copper tube according
to EN 1057.
The pipe outside diameter must match the corresponding press connection.
For example, a 22 mm valve should be matched with the applicable
22 mm copper tube and compatible pressing system.
When requesting a quotation, specify the pipe outside diameter rather
than only the nominal DN size.
Material Configuration
The supplied datasheet provides defined materials for the main
valve and sealing components, allowing buyers to compare the product
against their project specification.
CW511L Brass Body
CW511L is specified for the main valve body.
Chrome-Plated CW511L Ball
The internal ball is specified as CW511L with a chrome-plated surface.
CW617N Stem
The valve stem is specified as CW617N.
PTFE Seats and Seal
PTFE is specified for the ball seats and stem sealing components.
EPDM O-Rings
EPDM O-rings are used at the press-fit connection points.
EPDM O-Rings with Leak-Detection Indicators
The supplied specification identifies
EPDM O-rings with leak-detection indicators
at the press connections.
This feature is intended to assist in identifying an unpressed
or improperly completed press connection during system checking.
Final system pressure testing and commissioning should follow
the applicable project and installation requirements.
PN25 and -20°C to 120°C Operating Range
The current product specification states a nominal pressure rating
of PN25 and a medium-temperature range from
-20°C to 120°C.
These ratings should be considered together with the working medium,
tube specification, seal materials and actual operating conditions.
If the project requires a specific certification, approval or test
standard, provide that requirement when requesting a quotation so
that the applicable product configuration can be evaluated.
Typical Applications
The current product specification identifies water as the working medium.
Water Distribution
Manual shut-off in compatible copper-tube water distribution systems.
Plumbing Systems
Press-fit isolation valve for compatible copper piping installations.
Water Heating Circuits
Can be evaluated for compatible water circuits within the confirmed
pressure and temperature range.
Equipment Isolation
Manual shut-off close to compatible equipment, branches or
service connections.
For other working media, confirm chemical compatibility with the
brass, PTFE and EPDM components before selection.
What Should Buyers Confirm Before Ordering?
A press-fit ball valve should be specified by the complete piping
requirement rather than by valve size alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a brass press-fit ball valve?
It is a ball valve with press connection ends instead of conventional
threaded valve connections. A compatible pressing tool mechanically
compresses the connection around the inserted pipe.
What does M-profile mean?
M-profile refers to the press-jaw profile required for the connection.
The pressing tool and jaw must be compatible with the valve connection
and pipe dimensions.
What sizes are available?
The supplied datasheet lists 15, 22, 28, 35, 42 and 54 mm,
corresponding to DN15 through DN50.
What is the pressure rating?
The supplied technical data specifies a nominal pressure rating of PN25.
What is the stated temperature range?
The current product specification states a medium-temperature range
from -20°C to 120°C.
What material is the valve body?
The valve body is specified as CW511L brass. The ball is also
CW511L with a chrome-plated surface, while the stem is CW617N.
What sealing materials are used?
PTFE is specified for the ball seats and stem seal.
EPDM O-rings are used at the press connections.
Can it be used with EN 1057 copper tube?
The supplied product data specifies the brass valve for compatible
hard, half-hard and soft copper tube according to EN 1057.
The tube dimensions and press-system compatibility must still
match the selected valve size.
Can I use any press tool?
