This bronze float valve with copper ball is designed for automatic water-level control in tanks, reservoirs and water supply systems.
As the liquid level rises or falls, the copper float moves the lever mechanism to automatically open or close the inlet.
The valve features a bronze body and main internal components, a copper floating ball, EPDM seals and selected brass and 304 stainless steel components.
BSP and NPT threaded connections are available for different piping markets and installation requirements.
Selected sizes are available from 1/2″ to 6″, making the series suitable for both small water tanks and larger commercial or industrial water-level control applications.

2. How Does a Bronze Float Valve Work?
A mechanical float valve controls the inlet flow according to the liquid level inside a tank.
As the water level decreases, the copper float ball moves downward with the lever arm.
Movement of the lever operates the internal piston mechanism and allows water to enter the tank.
As the tank fills, the copper float rises with the water level.
When the required water level is reached, the lever moves the piston toward the closed position and restricts the inlet flow.

The required thread standard should be confirmed when requesting a quotation or sample.
BSP and NPT threads are not interchangeable simply because they have the same nominal pipe size.
