Buyer Note:
PN16 and PN25 should be treated as configuration options rather than
a single fixed rating for every variant in this series. Confirm the
required pressure class together with the model, size and thread
specification before ordering.
Available Models and Connection Types
The three model codes mainly distinguish the threaded connection arrangement.
| Model | Connection | Typical Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| PX1116 | Female × Female | For installation between compatible male-threaded components |
| PX1316 | Male × Female | For installations requiring one male and one female valve connection |
| PX1216 | Male × Male | For installation between compatible female-threaded components |
When requesting a quotation, specify the model or the required
connection arrangement. A request for only a “1/2″ brass ball valve”
is not enough to identify the correct configuration.
Female × Female, Male × Female or Male × Male?
Female × Female
Both valve ends use internal threads and connect to compatible
male-threaded piping components.
Male × Female
One end uses an external thread and the other an internal thread,
which can simplify certain piping layouts.
Male × Male
Both valve ends use external threads and connect to compatible
female-threaded components.
The connection arrangement should be selected based on the existing
piping components and installation layout rather than valve size alone.
BSP, BSPT or NPT Thread Options
This series can be evaluated with BSP, BSPT or NPT
threaded connections according to the purchasing requirement.
Buyers should specify the exact thread standard together with
the nominal size. Threads with the same nominal inch size should
not be assumed to be interchangeable.
If an existing valve is being replaced, providing a drawing,
reference sample or clear thread specification can reduce the
risk of connection mismatch.

BSP vs NPT Threads: What Brass Valve Buyers Should Know
.
PN16 or PN25?
The current product information lists
PN16 and PN25 as available pressure options,
subject to final confirmation for the selected configuration.
Buyers should not assume that every size, model and thread variant
automatically has the same pressure rating.
Specify the required pressure class in the RFQ and confirm it
against the final product configuration before production.
PN16
Can be evaluated where PN16 matches the required operating
and purchasing specification.
PN25
Can be evaluated where PN25 is required and confirmed for
the selected valve configuration.
Nickel-Plated Finish and Blue Lever Handle
The valve is supplied with a nickel-plated external finish,
giving the body a uniform silver-colored appearance.
The standard product shown uses a blue lever handle for manual
quarter-turn operation.
For applicable OEM projects, handle color, product marking
and packaging requirements can be evaluated according to the
confirmed specification and order quantity.
Typical Applications
Final suitability should always be checked against the actual
operating conditions and selected valve configuration.
Water Supply
Manual shut-off in compatible water distribution lines.
Plumbing Systems
Threaded isolation valve for compatible residential,
commercial and general plumbing installations.
HVAC Water Lines
Can be evaluated for compatible water-based HVAC piping applications.
General Pipeline Shut-Off
Quarter-turn isolation in compatible threaded piping systems.
What Should Buyers Confirm Before Ordering?
Confirming the complete configuration makes quotations easier
to compare on the same technical basis.

Quality and Order Confirmation
Inspection requirements should be based on the confirmed product
specification and buyer requirements rather than a generic checklist.
- Correct valve model and connection arrangement
- Correct nominal size
- Required thread standard and dimensions
- Confirmed pressure-class requirement
- Nickel-plated surface appearance
- Handle opening and closing operation
- Critical product dimensions where specified
- Pressure and leakage requirements where agreed
- Product marking and labeling
- Packaging and quantity
Testing conditions, test pressure, test duration and acceptance
criteria should be confirmed when they are part of the purchasing
specification.
